Overview

We are seeking a passionate, patient-centered Occupational Therapist to deliver evidence-based assessment and intervention for children and adults, with the ability to support family-centered care. The OT will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinic environment and will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapy services, documentation, and caregiver education in line with clinic protocols and UAE regulatory requirements.
Core Responsibilities
A) Clinical Assessment & Treatment
- Conduct OT assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients
- Provide intervention in areas including (but not limited to):
- sensory processing and regulation
- fine motor and gross motor development
- handwriting and school readiness skills
- activities of daily living (feeding, dressing, toileting support as appropriate)
- attention, executive functioning and self-management skills
- emotional regulation support through OT-led strategies
- Deliver 1:1 therapy sessions and structured programs
- Provide parent/caregiver coaching and practical strategies for carryover at home/school, where relevant
B) Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Coordinate care plans with Speech Therapists, Psychologists, Behavior Therapists, and other clinicians as needed
- Participate in case discussions and internal clinical meetings
- Provide written recommendations to support integrated care
C) Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate clinical records, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries within required timeframes
- Ensure documentation meets clinic standards, insurer requirements (where applicable), and UAE regulatory expectations
- Maintain professional registration/licensure and adhere to ethical and clinical governance standards
D) Quality & Professional Conduct
- Deliver services aligned to evidence-based practice and clinic SOPs
- Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and patient safety standards
- Participate in internal training, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Dubai ** existing DHA / CDA Licensure a plus
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred (pediatric experience strongly preferred).
- Strong competency in pediatric assessment and intervention planning
- Familiarity with school support planning and parent training models
- Experience with neurodevelopmental presentations (e.g., ASD, ADHD, developmental delay) is a plus
- Experience in private practice or multidisciplinary clinics is a plus
- Fluent in English ** additional languages (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Russian, French) are a plus
