Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to provide assessment and therapy services for children and adolescents with speech, language, feeding, and communication needs. The Speech Therapist will play a key role in delivering evidence-based therapy, caregiver education, and structured treatment planning within a premium multidisciplinary clinic environment.
Core Responsibilities
A) Assessment & Treatment
- Conduct speech and language assessments and create individualized therapy plans
- Provide intervention for areas including (but not limited to):
- expressive and receptive language delay
- articulation and phonological disorders
- social communication needs
- fluency (stammering/stuttering)
- voice and resonance support (as clinically appropriate)
- early communication development
- feeding therapy support within scope of competence
- Deliver 1:1 therapy sessions and structured home practice plans
- Provide parent/caregiver coaching and progress feedback
B) Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and other clinicians
- Participate in joint case planning and integrated care pathways
- Provide clear written recommendations to support school/home carryover
C) Documentation & Compliance
- Complete clinical notes, assessment reports, progress updates, and discharge summaries within clinic timelines
- Ensure documentation meets insurer requirements (where applicable) and UAE regulatory standards
- Maintain professional registration/licensure and comply with clinic SOPs and ethical standards
D) Quality & Professional Conduct
- Practice evidence-based therapy with a strong child/family-centered approach
- Maintain confidentiality, safeguarding standards, and clinical quality expectations
- Participate in supervision, training, and quality improvement activities
Key Requirements
- Degree in Speech & Language Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Dubai ** existing DHA / CDA Licensure a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents; clinical experience preferred
- Expertise in speech, language, and communication disorders, including articulation, fluency, and social communication challenges
- Strong competency in assessment, treatment planning, and caregiver education.
- Fluent in English ** additional languages are a plus (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Russian, French, etc.)
- Experience with neurodevelopmental presentations (ASD/ADHD) a plus
- Experience with AAC exposure (low-tech/high-tech) is a plus.
- Experience in multidisciplinary/private practice settings is a plus
