Dr. Jihane's work sits at the intersection of physical health and psychological wellbeing, an area she has explored through research, clinical practice, and academic teaching across three continents. She has held faculty positions at the American University of Beirut, Zayed University, and the Rochester Institute of Technology in Dubai, where she has taught on various topics including health psychology, developmental psychology, psychological disorders and interventions to undergraduate and graduate students. She also interned as a researcher at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States, one of the world's leading oncology institutions, where she was part of a smoking cessation FDA approved trial.

Clinically, Dr. Jihane works with adults navigating cancer diagnosis, anxiety, mood disorders, eating concerns, health-related distress, and the challenges of life transitions.
